Overlooking the bay and St Andrews' famous golf course, this glass-walled restaurant is contemporary in style with a fashionable open kitchen and simple décor. This accomplished kitchen has a flair for creative flavour combinations, and delivers an appealing menu of modern British and European cuisine. Expect a heavy, but not exclusive emphasis on seafood, with meat dishes such as duck with roast parsnip and fondant potato on offer alongside cod with chorizo and sun-blushed tomatoes, or halibut with cabbage and pine nut potato cake and Sauternes sauce. AA Restaurant of the Year for Scotland 2005.
